Resolution

Refer to the Intel DCL SCIP Database document for information regarding Substances of Concern In articles as such or in complex objects (Products) (SCIP).

The SCIP requirement only applies to the product that contains SVHC above 0.1% by weight in article. To determine whether an Intel product contains SVHC above threshold, consult the Intel Material Declaration Data Sheet (MDDS) of that product by following the instructions in How to Find Material Declaration Data Sheets (MDDS) for Intel® Products.

Additional information

As required by the amendment in Article 9 of the EU Waste Framework Directive (WFD), any supplier of an article placed on the European Union (EU) market that contains Substance of Very High Concern (SVHC) on the Candidate List above 0.1% by weight must provide the information pursuant to Article 33(1) of the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) Regulation to the SCIP Database as from January 5, 2021.
