Description
An error message shows up when trying to run the SSD selftest using the Intel® MAS command line, indicating that the drive does not support this feature.

Resolution
The selftest command was introduced for the Intel® Optane DC SSD P5800X series, and is not supported on the P4800X series or other Optane SSDs.
If monitoring the NVMe* SSD health is necessary, there are other commands that can be used, for example:
