“Press Start or ESC” to Play the Match Screen Doesn’t Appear on Pre-match Drills on FIFA 22

Unable to continue the FIFA 22 game, the option for skipping drills "Press Start or ESC" did not appear and was stuck at pre-match drills.

To solve this issue, perform the following steps:

1. Launch the FIFA 22, Don't press play yet.
2. Search for File Explorer from the Windows menu and navigate to Documents.
3. Go to FIFA 22 folder and find the fifasetup.ini file.
4. Right Click and Open with Notepad.
5. Change DIRECTX_SELECT = 0 value to 1, and Save. Refer to picture 1 as an example.
6. Close the fifasetup.ini file.
7. Run the FIFA22 to launch the game.
8. When done playing need to remove the file from read-only, then can launch the game again and redo the process.
