Description

The Intel® WiFi can only connect to a 5GHz bandwidth but not the regular 2.4GHz.

Resolution
  1. Install the latest original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or Intel generic driver.
  2. Follow the recommended settings for Intel® Wireless Adapters supporting 802.11ac, 802.11n or 802.11ax connectivity.
  3. Change the Preferred band of the wireless adapter to No Preference (Default) or Prefer 2.4 GHz band. See more detailed info and how to change these settings under the Advanced tab of the Windows* Device Manager properties.
  4. Reboot the device and scan for available updates.
  5. Forget Wifi network that can't connect then manually add the wifi network.
Additional information
