Description

Unable to perform color adjustment through IGCC because there is no gamma slider setting

Resolution

Some settings, such as gamma, were removed from IGCC because you can now adjust them through the operating system

Follow these steps to adjust gamma in your OS:

  1. Press the Windows key + I keyboard shortcut to open the Settings app
  2. Click Display
  3. Click Advanced display settings
  4. Use the Recommended screen resolution for your display
  5. Click the Color calibration link to launch the utility
  6. Click Next to start the process.
  7. Click Next to continue
  8. Click Next again
  9. Adjust the gamma settings by moving the slider up or down until the small dots are barely visible and click Next
  10. Click Next again
  11. Find the brightness controls on your monitor and adjust the brightness to higher or lower values
  12. Click Next to continue
  13. Click Next again
  14. Find the contrast controls on your monitor
  15. Set the contrast controls to your preference
  16. Click Next again
  17. Adjust the color balance by moving the slider for the red, green, and blue colors until removing any color cast from the gray bars
  18. Click Next
  19. Click the Previous calibration or Current calibration button to compare the new changes
  20. Click Finish to apply the settings or Cancel to discard the new configuration
