Make sure to check if the cables are seated properly on the backplane of the server.
Description
All HS HDD ports are not being able to detect a hard drive (SSD-SATA)
Resolution
- Check if the HDD (SSD-SATA) is validated using our Intel Server Compatibility Tool site. Server Compatibility Tool - M50CYP
- Make sure to check if the cables from the mini SAS drives are seated properly on the backplane of the server.
- If using raiser cards, make sure the cards and connectors are seated properly.
- If M.2 is being used, make sure the card is seated properly on the slot base.
- Power Cycle the server and try again.
