How to inject the Intel® RST driver into a Windows OS Recovery image so drives being managed in RAID/Intel Optane Memory can be detected
My system uses Intel RST to manage a RAID or Intel Optane Memory volume, but when I have to go through the Windows OS Image Recovery process the volume is not present.
In a system that is enabled for RAID/Intel Optane memory in the BIOS and utilizing a RAID or Intel Optane memory volume (combining multiple hardware drives to look like one to the operating system), supported Intel® RST drivers must have been injected in the OS Recovery image to detect the storage hardware.
See Section 10 Windows* Recovery Environment in the installation guide for your product.
