Where to Find Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) Certification Status of Intel® Products

Unable to find FIPS information related to Intel products.

Resolution

  1. Go to the NIST search website.
  2. Select the Search Type to perform (for example, Basic).
  3. Enter the Certificate Number if available.
  4. Enter the word intel in the Vendor field.
  5. Enter the Module Name if available.
  6. Click the Search button.

Additional information

FIPS is a cryptographic algorithm and module validation program. FIPS certification is mostly required by United States and Canadian government agencies for government procurements.

Modules that are in process of validation can be found using the Process List from NIST.

  • FIPS: Federal Information Processing Standards. FIPS 140-3 supersedes FIPS 140-2 standard.
  • NIST: National Institute of Standards and Technology.
