What is Intel® Deep Link Hyper Encode? What video formats does Hyper Encode work with?
Hyper encode accelerates encoding using multiple media engines' combined video processing power on Intel + Intel desktop and laptop systems and is available on select productivity apps.
It is available in Laptops with Intel® Arc™ Graphics, Laptops with Intel® Iris® Xe MAX, and Desktops with Intel® Arc™ Graphics when paired with 11th Gen Intel® Core™ Processors with integrated graphics or newer, and it is automatically enabled.
Hyper Encode works with AVC, HEVC, and VP9 and can encode ultra-high resolution 8K30 or 4K120 content.
The Intel integrated graphics and the discrete card must support hardware acceleration of a codec for Hyper Encode to be available.
