What to Do If I Accidentally Switched Off My Intel® NUC Laptop Monitor Display?

Description

The laptop monitor was unintentionally turned off and it's unclear how to turn it back on.

Resolution

These steps are applicable only for Windows® 10 & Windows 11*.

  1. Press Win+x
  2. Click Settings
  3. Access the System icon
  4. Click Display on the left side
  5. Click the Advanced Display settings link on the right side
  6. Select the display you want to restore in the Choose Display menu
  7. Turn off (restore) Remove display from desktop
  8. Close the Settings window
     
NoteAn additional display must be connected to the laptop via HDMI or Type C to perform the above steps.
