Disable hardware acceleration in browsers.
Can't view QR code clearly when generating using any web browser (Chrome, Firefox and MS Edge). White lines appear through the code.
Disable hardware acceleration in your browser to avoid this problem.
Steps on How to disable hardware acceleration in Google Chrome:
- Open Chrome.
- Click the horizontal ellipsis menu button in the top-right corner and click on Settings.
- Click on Advanced from the left pane.
- Click on System.
- Under the “System” section, turn off the Use hardware acceleration when available toggle switch.
- Click the Relaunch button.
Steps on How to disable hardware acceleration in Microsoft Edge:
- Open Microsoft Edge
- Open the Settings area
- Click System tab on the left side
- Locate Use hardware acceleration when available on the right side
- Deactivate hardware acceleration.
To turn off hardware acceleration in Firefox:
- Click the menu button and select Settings.
- Select the General panel.
- Under Performance, uncheck Use recommended performance settings.
Additional settings will be displayed. - Uncheck Use hardware acceleration when available.
- Click the Firefox menu and select Exit.
- Start Firefox the way you normally do.
