Intel® Laminar RM1/RS1 Cooler Installation Instructions and Video
Intel® Laminar RM1 Cooler comes with boxed Intel® Processors listed below:
- 12th Generation Intel® Core™: i7-12700, i7-12700F, i5-12600, i5-12500, i5-12400, i5-12400F, i3-12100 and i3-12100F.
- 13th Generation Intel® Core™: i7-13700, i7-13700F, i5-13500, i5-13400, i5-13400F, i3-13100 and i3-13100F.
- Intel® Core™ (14th gen): i7-14700, i7-14700F, i5-14500, i5-14400, i5-14400F, i3-14100 and i3-14100F.
- Intel® Processor for Desktop: Intel® Processor 300.
Intel® Laminar RS1 Cooler comes in the box with Pentium® G7400 and Celeron® G6900 processors.
These coolers are compatible with the LGA1700 socket.

High-level installation instructions of these cooler are:
- Before installing the cooler, make sure that the processor is installed in the socket and motherboard is not installed in the case. For CPU installation, visit Processor Installation in an LGA1700 Socket.
- Don’t touch the pre-installed thermal paste.
- Align pushpins with the holes around the processor socket. Push the pins till you hear the click.
- Fan connector to the processor fan header is on the motherboard.
