Summary

Steps to get the Intel® Graphics Command Center to show the correct graphics processor.

Instructions

  1. Perform a clean installation of Graphics driver and Intel® Graphics Command Center.
  2. Check System memory.
NoteThe Iris Xe configuration is unlocked when using Dual-Channel memory configurations. If the system only has 8GB, it could be a single SODIMM (Small Outline Dual In-line Memory Module), so this explains why graphics default shows as HD Graphics only.
  3. Upgrade the memory configuration to Dual-Channel. Check with the OEM the possibility since Intel does not handle 3rd party OEM specs and more details about their memory setup.
