Experiencing VoIP (Voice over IP) Network Disconnects Using Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX201 (Gig+)

Description

After reinstalling the operating system on a Laptop that has the Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX201 installed, the Voice Over IP phones get disconnected and start to drop calls.

Resolution

The driver that comes with the operating system may be affecting the VoIP connection, the best option for this issue is to try and perform a clean installation of the driver to get rid of the driver and install a new driver on the system. 

  1. Perform a Clean Installation of the latest Intel Wireless Driver 
  2. Reboot machine. 
  3. Verify installation was successful on the device manager.
