Intel doesn’t recommend patching/installing any unofficial (non-Intel signed) firmware to Intel NUCs. Using unofficial firmware and/or modifying/updating firmware with an unofficial tool or method may damage the NUC and violate warranty terms.

Firmware is not like a driver that can be safely installed/uninstalled. Any firmware corruption may cause malfunction or even permanent damage to the system. To avoid that, only use the validated NUC firmware which is published on our Download Center.

If the above steps don't help that may mean that the system was permanently damaged by the unvalidated firmware. If you have further questions contact Customer support.
