Environment

Mac OS*

BUILT IN - ARTICLE INTRO SECOND COMPONENT
Summary

Quick steps to configure runtime memory and set proxy for Docker Desktop.

Description
  • Imported model in DL Workbench.
  • Received error when preparing environment to convert the imported model to Intermediate Representation (IR):

Cannot install packages for python /home/workbench/.workbench/environments/2/bin/python

Resolution

The encountered behavior is due to insufficient memory allocated for the Docker* application.

Increase the memory for the Docker application. This is done by configuring the options in the Docker Preferences menu.

Set the proxy settings manually for Docker Desktop by referring to Set proxy for macOS* and Windows* if DL Workbench is running behind improper proxy configurations.

Additional information

By default, Docker Desktop is set to use 2-GB runtime memory, which is allocated from the total available memory.
