Steps to resolve BSOD while Intel® Virtualization Technology for Directed I/O (Intel® VT-d) is enabled
System crashes with error DRIVER VERIFIER DMA VIOLATION at startup if Intel® Virtualization Technology for Directed I/O (Intel® VT-d) is Enabled in BIOS.
Follow this steps:
- Install Windows* OS and latest Intel® VROC drivers with VT-d disabled
- Enable Limit CPU PA to 46 bits in BIOS
- Enable VT-d in BIOS
Boot drive must be detected in BIOS
