Tips on upgrading laptops

In order to deliver sleek form factors and robust reliability, modern laptops have a high level of integration. In many cases, this includes the laptop processor soldered onto the motherboard. Intel recommends you contact your system or motherboard manufacturer before attempting to upgrade your laptop processor. Your manufacturer is familiar with your system specifications, what processors it supports, and the possible upgrade options available. Because the processor imay be soldered to the motherboard, upgrading the processor may not be possible.
