“No Boot Device Found” or “A Bootable Device Has Not Been Detected” Message on an Intel® NUC Product
Content Type: Error Messages | Article ID: 000087822 | Last Reviewed: 04/13/2023
The Intel® NUC shows a message saying No boot device found during startup and the Disc LED doesn't seem to work.
Use a USB keyboard to check if the drive is detected in the BIOS (a Bluetooth keyboard won't be able to access the BIOS).
If Boot Drive Order shows No Boot Drive, the drive inside the NUC may not be seated properly or it might have failed. Here are some items to try. If none of them work, contact Intel Customer Support.
Note | If you are trying to use UEFI Boot in your Intel NUC BIOS settings, please use GPT partition style. |
