Resolution

The use of the 6GHz band may be prohibited by regulatory bodies in your country or might not be enabled on your platform by the system manufacturer. Confirm this with your system manufacturer before following next steps:

Ensure all of the below requirements are met to be able to connect to 6 GHz channels:

  • If a wireless card is manually installed, ensure that your system manufacturer has validated and approved its compatibility with 6 GHz.
  • Wi-Fi 6 devices support 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, and Wi-Fi 6E (or higher) devices support 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands.
Wi-Fi 6 (or lower) devices do not support the 6 GHz band.
  • Ensure the Wireless router and PC are equipped with Wi-Fi 6E or higher standards for building a 6 GHz connection.
  • Use the latest Wi-Fi drivers for Intel Wireless adapters (version 22.70.0 or later.)
  • Ensure you are using the latest version of Microsoft Windows *11 OS
