How to resolve the "user does not exist" error.
Description
- While trying to add new users from the Administrator profile into the Intel® Partner Alliance account, encountered the message: user already exists.
- After trying the recovery password process encountered the message: user does not exist.
Resolution
This can happen when contacts are added to an account but are in pending status. Passwords cannot be updated until users complete the registration.
- To finish the process search for the email invitation in your mailbox (review your spam folder)
- Log in and follow the instructions contained in the emails that were triggered when the invitation was sent by the account administrator.
- Contact Intel® Partner Alliance Help, if the invitations were not received.
