Unable to Redeem Points in Intel® Partner Alliance account because:

  • Error Encountered: Something went wrong while fetching rewards data - (5000). Please try again.
  • Encountered error: Please update your tax information and refresh this page in order to complete the checkout process.
  • Received error message: We’re sorry. This role doesn’t have permission to make a redemption. Please contact your Partner Admin to complete your checkout.
  • Rewards are not visible or blank.
  • Results show No options.
  • Unable to redeem due to empty recipient principal.
  • Stuck at the Rewards ID field due to no Rewards ID provided by Intel.
  • Proceed button is grayed out.
  • Points rewards offers for redeeming do not show all expected available redemption options (options are limited).
  • Distributor vouchers, gift cards, or other vendors are not available.
  • Partner Admin encountered the Account Required page.
  • Cannot redeem since the Points redemption website is undergoing scheduled maintenance.
  • Error encountered: The requested URL was rejected. Please consult with your administrator when trying to redeem at the Intel® Partner Alliance Points page.
  • Redirected to Post-Launch page whenever trying to redeem points.
  • Only Back to Cart button is available when we try to check out the rewards in Intel® Partner Alliance Points page.
  • Unable to place an order because delivery address is grayed out.
  • Encountered the error Something went wrong... [8018].
Resolution

Most Points Redemption issues cannot be resolved on your own. You will need to contact Intel Customer Support for assistance.

Error encountered: Something went wrong while fetching rewards data - (5000). Please try again.
This error is caused by a data mismatch in our partner database and the Points Redemption tool due to duplicate login ID's. Contact Intel Customer Support for assistance.

Received error message: We’re sorry. This role doesn’t have permission to make a redemption. Please contact your Partner Admin to complete your checkout.
This error indicates the user attempting to redeem Points does not have the Partner Admin or Partner Admin Delegate role and Points Redeem for contact that is employee only.
If you do have one of these roles and the issue persists, contact Intel Customer Support.

Rewards are not visible or blank:
This could indicate an issue with the website displaying the redemption offerings correctly, or the user does not have the Partner Admin or Partner Admin Delegate role.
If you do have one of these roles, first try clearing cache and reloading the page. If the issue persists, contact Intel Customer Support.

Results show No options.
This error indicates the user attempting to redeem Points does not have the Partner Admin or Partner Admin Delegate role.
If you do have one of these roles and the issue persists, contact Intel Customer Support.

Partner rewards and redemption options vary by location and membership tier.
Specific criteria must first be met in order to earn and/or redeem points.

  • Eligible Account Tiers: Member, Gold or Titanium
  • Eligible Partner Roles: OEM, Solution Provider, Service Integrator (SI), Independent Software Vendor (ISV), Cloud Service Provider (CSP – IaaS, SaaS, PaaS)
  • To redeem an individual must have Partner Admin or Partner Admin Delegate role. And employees only should have the entitlement Points Redeem.
