Information about TAA compliance of Intel® SSDs and steps to request compliance confirmation for a given COO
- Unable to identify the country of origin of Intel® SSD
- Unable to validate if trade agreements are in place when purchasing Intel SSDs
In order to determine if there are any specific trade agreements in place, such as TAA (Trade Agreements Act), based on applicable custom regulations, send an email to COO-Customs-Request@Intel.com with the following information:
- Detailed request
- Intel product identifying information: Name/Model/Part Number
- Country where Requestor is located
- Country where Product was or will be imported if different from above
- Approximate date of purchase

Background on the US Trade Agreements Act (TAA):
TAA refers to the Trade Agreements Act (19 U.S.C. & 2501-2581), which is intended to foster fair and open international trade.
The TAA contains a list of products and requires that the U.S. Government acquire those products only if they are “Made or substantially transformed in the U.S. or a TAA designated country".
