Intel hardware
The following table lists the Intel hardware supported in the Intel® Ethernet Fabric Suite Software 11.1.0.0 release version. The table does not include Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)–specific hardware, such as custom adapters and switches.

Network file systems
This section reports the network file systems that have been tested with 11.1.0.0 release version of the Intel® Ethernet Fabric Suite software. Note that not all combinations of OS, file system, and Intel® EFS software are tested.
The following parallel file systems have been validated:
- IBM* Spectrum Scale (formerly known as General Parallel File System):
- Version 5.1.0.1 on RHEL* 8.2, RHEL* 8.3, SLES* 15.1, and SLES* 15.2
- BeeGFS:
- Version 7.2.1 on all RHEL* supported versions, not validated on SLES
Additionally, in-distro NFS capability has also been validated for the supported distros.
Supported MPI libraries
The table below lists the different MPI libraries supported by Intel® Ethernet Fabric Suite software with the corresponding version, fabric support, and compiler used. Note that the second column indicates if the MPI library is included in the Intel® Ethernet Fabric Suite software package.

Intel® MPI Library 2021, Update 3 is recommended to be used with IEFS.

The Open MPI libraries that are included in 11.1.0.0 release version, and built with OFI/PSM3 support, were built with the following compiler versions:
