How to force Scale option to Maintain Display Scaling as the default option in Intel® Graphics Command Center.

Description

 

  • When connecting second displays, like HDMI®, the Scale option in Intel® Graphics Command Center defaults to Maintain Aspect Ratio and, no signal is detected on the HDMI®. 
  • Switching to Maintain Display Scaling solves the problem. 
  • For multiple devices or large deployments, this is not a sustainable approach, so unable to find a setting change, registry setting, or configuration file setting to administer this as Maintain Display Scaling to default on all the devices.
Resolution

Intel recommends contacting the computer Original Manufacturer (OEM) to request customization in the tool's default behavior.
