Description
- The computer crashes on a new build when trying to open the Intel® Rapid Storage (Intel® RST) console
- Error message: FAILURE_BUCKET_ID: 0x9F_3_disk_IMAGE_iaStorAC.sys
Resolution
Follow the steps below:
- Download and install the latest Intel® RST driver from the computer manufacturer or the latest version offered at the Intel Download Center.
- Check if the error message remains.
- If the error message persists, capture the complete BSOD dump files for analysis. Follow the steps below:
- Right click Windows' icon and select System > About.
- Under Related Settings/Links, select Advanced system settings.
- Click on Settings in the Startup and Recovery section.
- Look for the Write debugging information dropdown and select Complete memory dump.
- The memory dump file is typically located in %SystemRoot%\MEMORY.DMP with system root is typically C:\Windows.
