Unable to create a partition from within the Intel® RAID RAID BIOS
Resolution
The partitioning of the volume is not within the RAID BIOS; rather, this is done during the Operating System (OS) installation process. In the case of Windows* OSs, this is at the Where do you want to install Windows prompt, prior to installing the OS:
- Select the volume.
- Click on New.
- Create the partitions, as needed, by selecting the size of each.
- Click Apply.
- Once you create the partitions, select the one which you will install the OS into.
- Click Next
