What to do when the Windows Installation media isn't detected in the BIOS.
Description
There is an issue when trying to install Windows* using a bootable USB device in which the USB device isn't detected in the BIOS in UEFI mode.
Resolution
- Update the Intel NUC to the latest BIOS version.
- If the above didn't work, try a BIOS recovery.
- Reimage the USB device. Both Microsoft and several other companies like Rufus provide tools to create a Windows bootable USB device.
- If none of the above work, contact Intel® Customer support.
