Description

Intel® NUC was not able to boot successfully. Error message: BIOS has detected unsuccessful POST attempt(s) appears during system POST.

Resolution
  1. Access the BIOS (basic input/output system) for the Intel® NUC
  2. During boot, Press F2
  3. Click on Boot settings
  4. Click on Boot Configuration
  5. Click on Boot Devices
  6. Disable Network Boot
  7. Press F10 to save the settings

If this option is already disabled, make sure that the drive you're using is present on the compatibility list for your NUC.

The other method that can fix the error: "BIOS Has Detected Unsuccessful POST Attempt(s)," is the update or reload the BIOS to refresh the system and get back to the default factory settings.

After any BIOS reload or update, Intel recommends the following steps:

  1. Press F2 during the start to enter BIOS Setup.
  2. Press F9 to set BIOS default values.
    1. Customize any BIOS settings, if desired (optional).
  3. Press F10 to save and exit BIOS Setup.
