When using Microsoft applications or browsers, the screen flickers or distorts.

Disabling hardware acceleration can assist to reduce or eliminate screen flickering.
Follow these steps to disable acceleration:
- Open any office document (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc...).
- Click on the file tab.
- Select options.
- Select advanced.
- Scroll down to the Display section.
- Disable hardware graphics acceleration [check this option].
Follow these steps to disable Internet Explorer and Google Chrome's Hardware Acceleration.
- Open the browser.
- Click the menu icon.
- Click Settings.
- In the Settings menu, expand the Advanced drop-down section found in the left sidebar.
- Select System.
- Find the Use hardware acceleration when available setting. Toggle the switch to the Off position.
- Click Relaunch to apply the changes.
