Description
The Intel® Optane™ memory application shows the message Pinning is not available in Performance Mode....Please enable Intel® Optane™ Memory in Responsiveness Mode.
Resolution
Follow these steps to switch the Intel® Optane™ memory mode and set it in Responsiveness mode:
- Disable the Intel® Optane™ memory from the application.
- Enable again the Intel® Optane™ memory, selecting the Responsiveness Mode option from the application menu.
Additional information
The pinning feature in the Intel® Optane™ memory enables customized responsiveness by allowing the selection of specific files, folders, and applications to be accelerated. However, manual pinning is only allowed if the Intel® Optane™ memory is enabled using the Responsiveness mode.
