Having issues with black screen when playing protected content on Intel® Graphics using 2560x1440@75Hz
Description
- The display's screen goes black when trying to play protected content from Amazon Video, Netflix, Spotify, and so on, and using a screen resolution of 2560x1400@75Hz with HDMI® 1.4 video port.
- Receiving black screen after updating the graphics driver.
- After updating to Intel® DCH Graphics Driver version 25.20.100.6471, the screen that is connected via DisplayPort* goes black and with HDMI the screen flickers. If uses the motherboard drivers the screen works on DisplayPort* and HDMI.
Resolution
There are possible ways to fix black screens received whenever a Windows* DCH driver is installed.
When receiving black screens, we recommend following these steps:
- Check Windows* updates:
- Click the Windows Start button.
- Click the search, type Windows updates, and click that option.
- Select Check for Updates and ensure that you have the latest Windows* version.

- Optional: Reinstalling the operating system may resolve this issue.
