Description

When Intel Optane memory is enabled, the error code 0xA0010055 appears. This happens after clean installing Windows® 10 20H2.

Resolution
  1. Press F2 consecutively after pressing the power button.
  2. When the BIOS (Basic Input/Output System) screen displays, click Advanced and then click the SATA tab under Device.
  3. Change Chipset SATA Mode to Intel RST Premium with Intel Optane System Acceleration.
  4. Press F10 to save changes.
  5. Set the Windows 10 20H2 installer (USB key) on the USB port and restart the computer.
  6. Press F10 consecutively at startup to open the boot menu screen.
  7. Follow the Windows Installation Wizard.
  8. At the Where do you want to install Windows screen, select Drive 0 and click New.
  9. Adjust the storage size to a number with 0 as the last two digits.
    • For example, change 114473 MB to 114400 MB
  10. Click Apply > click OK > click Next for the installation to begin.
    • Follow the instructions on the screen
  11. When the desktop screen appears, open the Disk Management.
  12. Confirm that an unsorted item on the last partition is greater than 5MB.
  13. Download and install the Optane driver.
    • Unzip the file and right-click iaStorAC.inf to install
  14. Restart the computer.
  15. At the Microsoft store, search and install Intel® Optane™ Memory and Storage Management.
  16. Launch the software and enable the Optane Module.
