Error popped up: Package checksum verification failed

Resolution

The package checksum verification error usually occurs when you are missing the Quovadis Root CA Certificate.

Follow these steps to install the QuoVadis Root CA Certificate:

  1. Go to QuoVadis Root CA Certificate and follow the instructions on that page to save the certificate to a local file.
  2. Name the file with a .crt extension, such as quovadisrootcert.crt.
  3. Double-click the file quovadisrootcert.crt.
  4. Click Install Certificate…
  5. Select Local Machine | Next.
  6. Select Yes to run the dll.
  7. Select Automatically select the certificate store | Next | Finish.
  8. Install the Intel® Software Guard Extensions (Intel® SGX) SDK for Windows*.

If this does not work, clear the Intel SGX SDK installer cache:
Delete the directory C:\ProgramData\Intel\Installer\SGX_SDK\cache.
