Description

While trying to install the ini file manually, the driver is not detecting the adapter.

Resolution

If the following criteria is met during Windows installation, the driver cannot be installed:

  • Version number before 1809
  • OS Build before 17763.xxxx

How to check the build version of the Windows 10:

  1. Click on Start.
  2. Type Winver.
  3. Select the option that shows Winver.

Update Windows to a newer version if the version or the build number is older than the ones required.
