Description

An error message: This platform is not supported appears during the installation process of the Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver.

Resolution

Follow the steps below to successfully install the Intel RST driver:

  1. Download the Intel RST driver from Intel Download Center. If you have an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) system, please consult the manufacturer for the appropriate drivers.
  2. Locate the downloaded file and extract the files if needed.
  3. Install the driver by following the Installation Wizard.
