Factors to Consider When Choosing Which Distribution of OpenVINO™ Toolkit Is Right for You
There are two sources of the OpenVINO™ toolkit and they are slightly different from each other. Choose the best source depending on your needs:
- Intel® Distribution of OpenVINO™ toolkit: Downloaded from Intel as a binary package. Includes all components of the OpenVINO toolkit. Installation is automated via a GUI.
- Open source OpenVINO™ toolkit: Downloaded as source code from a Github repository. Requires manual installation by building from source.
The table below shows the major components available in each distribution to help you choose which distribution is best for your situation. It is not an exhaustive list.
