Environment

Operating System

Windows® 10, 64-bit*
Dell XPS 15 7590. Windows 10 2004 Samsung Laptop

Description

Adjusting settings in Intel® Graphics Command Center and restarting the system causes the changes made earlier to return to default setting.

On some Samsung laptops, the color settings changes revert after a few minutes.

Resolution

There is an application pre-installed on certain Dell systems called “Dell PremierColor.” This app manages your monitor settings independently. You can manually set your colors in the Intel Graphics Command Center. However, once you go to restart your computer, the Dell PremierColor app will reset the colors according to the parameters set within the app.

Disabling Dell PremierColor application at startup may solve this issue with Intel Graphics Command Center.

Consult with Dell on the best way to disable the Dell PremierColor application.

Steps for Samsung Laptops:

Search for the Samsung Setting application

  • Click on Display
  • Change Auto-mode to Vivid (AMOLED Native)
