Description
Randomly the Internet connection speed falls from 600Mb/s to near 10 Mb/s, 2Mb/s, and sometimes to 100 Mb/s. The Internet speed will go back after changing any advanced setting on the Intel® Ethernet Controller.
Resolution
Steps to fix random slow Internet connection speed:
- Update the drivers to the latest version.
- Disable ReduceSpeedOnPowerDown advanced setting in the adapter properties.
- Uncheck Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power on the device’s advanced power properties.
