Reporting issues with Intel® Driver & Support Assistant (Intel® DSA)
- Type keywords of your issue in the search Intel® support field on the Intel Support homepage to look for helpful Intel articles.
- Submit a question through the Intel Communities site.
Tips for giving us helpful feedback to improve the tool and fix problems:
- Provide specific information on system type, OS, browser, and exact details on the issue.
- Zip all 3 IDSA folders found at C:\ProgramData\Intel\DSA and provide that zip file to the case agent or attach to the Community post for developers to root cause the issue.
- Sometimes the ProgramData folder is a hidden folder, so if user cannot see the folder, assist them to change the settings to show all hidden files.
- For Win7: In File Manager, choose Organize, folder & search options, click View tab, under Advanced Settings and make sure the radial button is marked for Show hidden files, folders and drivers.
- For Win8, 10 & 11: In File Explorer, choose the View tab at the top of the page and check the box for hidden items to be shown.
- Sometimes the ProgramData folder is a hidden folder, so if user cannot see the folder, assist them to change the settings to show all hidden files.
- Include any screenshots of the error.
- Be sure and mention any anti-virus or malware software you have enabled as these may prevent Intel® DSA from properly running.
