Brightness Increases when Intel Graphics Driver is Updated

After Windows update, display brightness increases when graphics driver is installed. You may also see missing colors on the display.

This could be caused either by a bad installation of the update or an incompatibility between Intel's generic graphics drivers and your original manufacturer's settings.

• Run Windows update again
• Perform a clean installation of the graphics driver from download center
• If the issue persists, contact your motherboard manufacturer and request their driver.
