Unable to use Intel® MLC with Intel® Optane™ persistent memory
Intel® Memory Latency Checker (Intel® MLC) is a tool used to measure memory latencies and bandwidth, and how they change with increasing load on the system. It also provides several options for more fine-grained investigation where bandwidth and latencies from a specific set of cores to caches or memory can be measured as well.
- Go to the Intel® Memory Latency Checker site to download the tool.
- In this site you will also find the installation steps and the command line arguments that can be used.
If further assistance is required, please gather the following information and contact Intel Customer Support:
- Command sequence used while configuring the memory modules.
- The results of running the following commands:
- ndctl list
- ndctl list --regions --human (or ndctl list--Ru)
- ndctl list -D -n namespace-id
- ipmctl show –namespace
