Showing yellow exclamation point in device manager in a system with Intel® Processor.
Resolution
Follow the steps below as they may resolve your issue:
- Install the latest Windows* updates. This will ensure you have the latest software/drivers.
- If you have added new hardware in your self-built system and a yellow exclamation mark is showing, install Chipset INF Utility to identify the proper naming for the added hardware in your system. Make sure to reboot your system after the installation.
- If the steps above do not work, try to update the drivers using the device manager.
- Open Device Manager.
- Click Processors.
- Expand Processors.
- Click on any of the instances of the processors.
- Right-click and choose Update driver.
