Description
Need to confirm if the TRIM feature is supported on RAID 1.
Resolution
The TRIM feature optimizes write operations, helps devices reduce wear, and maintains unused storage area on devices as large as possible.
With Intel® 7 Series chipsets and later the driver supports TRIM on SSDs (that support TRIM) in a RAID 0 configuration. TRIM on RAID 1 volumes is not supported.
