Intel® Rapid Storage Technology (Intel® RST) does not install on Supermicro X11SAE motherboard with Intel® C236 Chipset.
Resolution
Installation errors during Intel® RST installation could be caused by hardware/software limitation.
Even though motherboards with Intel® Chipsets may support generic versions of Intel® RST, not all systems do. It is recommended to check with the system vendor on compatibility, and if supported, is there a specific version validated by the vendor.
