HP* Elitedesk 800 G2 Desktop Mini loose ability to remote connect through AMT after a period of time. When system is rebooted remote connection capability gets back to normal. OEM BIOS and ME firmware needs to be updated.
This is actually a known issue. Intel has released a FW fix and HP has the fix available on their website for this model. The customer needs to go to https://support.hp.com/gb-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-elitedesk-800-35w-g2-desktop-mini-pc/7633266 scroll down to the Firmware section and download Management Engine (ME) firmware 11.8.50.3470
Known issue on ME and HP systems about an issue with losing the ability to connect to a particular model of HP machine .
The hardware is an HP EliteDesk 800 G2 Desktop Mini -
The issue occurs when connect to a PC that has had continuous power for more than a month, there is a strong chance that the vPro will reject all attempts to access it despite the credentials being correct.
The only way to log in is to physically remove power and back again.
