Information about what graphics is utilized in a system with discrete and integrated graphics.

Description

Would like to know what graphics will be used if there are discrete graphics and integrated graphics on my system.

Resolution

Windows* will automatically switch between integrated and discrete graphics for most applications or games.

However, once the graphics card is installed, the integrated graphics of the processor may be disabled, and the system may only use the discrete graphics card.

To check compatibility with a discrete graphics card, it is recommended to contact the motherboard manufacturer.

NoteThe Intel® Driver & Support Assistant will not detect a graphics driver update if the Intel Graphics is disabled.
