Description

The following error messages may appear:

  • WARNING! Please back up your data and replace your hard disk drive.
  • WARNING! Your HDD/SSD might crash at any moment.

Resolution

Perform the following steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Back up all data on the drive.
  2. Update the firmware of the drive if available with the Intel® Memory and Storage Tool (GUI).
  3. Run Secure Erase on the drive.
  4. Contact Intel® Customer Support if the issue continues.
