Intel® Movidius™ Neural Compute Stick Discontinuation Notice

Intel is discontinuing the Intel® Movidius™ Neural Compute Stick.

The Intel® Movidius™ Neural Compute Stick (NCS) has been replaced with the Intel® Neural Compute Stick 2.

The last order date for the Intel® Movidius™ Neural Compute Stick is October 30, 2019. Technical support for the Intel® Movidius™ Neural Compute Stick will continue to be available until April 30, 2021. Warranty support for the Intel® Movidius™ Neural Compute Stick will continue to be available until April 30, 2022. There are no further software updates planned for the Intel® Movidius™ Neural Compute SDK.

Intel® OpenVINO™ Toolkit:

The Intel® Distribution of OpenVINO™ Toolkit supports both the Intel® Movidius™ Neural Compute Stick and the Intel® Neural Compute Stick 2.
