If I need to buy a new PCIe card, how do I find out how many available PCI Express lanes are on the motherboard?
Resolution
By design, the Intel chipset and the processor both have PCI Express lanes. Refer to the motherboard documentation for the available PCIe slots.
PCI Express cards out in the market are expected to work on our motherboard; however, if there is an issue, refer to the motherboard vendor.
